A four year MEng meets all the academic standards for Chartered Engineer status. Robotics, autonomous vehicles, IoT and AI are just a few of the future facing industries that require both hardware skills and software programming. You will learn both of these skills when studying Electronics and Computer Engineering with us. You can choose which module to study from the available options for this component. This course is for anyone interested in computers, computing systems and software. Directed specialisms for modules and projects include IT infrastructure and cyber security and very large scale integration design, object orientated software and computer networks. With your final year project you will have the chance to work with research groups on latest advances and technology. The module provides students with the necessary background knowledge so that they can understand sensors and their applications. The module covers a selection of topics where information is acquired from sensors and subsequently electronically processed.
